Korean actor, Kim Hyun Joong was selected to be an UN ambassador. Hyun Joong is going to participate in the UN campaign program for Korean Social Welfare Society.
The actor was confirmed as an ambassador in conjunction with the inaugural show, the UN's Korean Campaign on Contributions to Social Welfare, held at the Plaza Hotel, Seoul. He was going to charge to spread hope among the Korean community.
In one photo, it appears the actor who is also leader of boyband SS501 was standing by the leader of the ruling party Saenuri, Park Geun Hye is also aunt of singer Eun Ji Won.
