SNSD Earned 70 Billion Won In Last 3 Years

Revenue that earned by SM Entertainment's artists in the past 3 years has received great attention recently.

According to the electronic disclosure system of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), on March 12, investment prospectus disclosure of data through SM Entertainment on March 6, revealed that SNSD has recorded sales revenue of as much as 17.003 billion Won in 2009, 30.044 billion Won in 2010 and 21.737 billion Won until the third quarter of 2011.

From 2009 until the third quarter of 2011, SNSD has garnered a total revenue of 68.811 billion Won. If the fourth quarter of 2011 included, revenues will exceed 70 billion Won. That number will surpass the 100 billion won if SNSD activities in Japan are also taken into account.

Total sales revenue of 68.811 billion Won has 42% of the total income of the other five artists of SM Entertainment (SNSD, Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee, and F (x)) which amounted to 161.954 billion Won in 3 years.
